Pre Production

When Adder approached us, they had a conference on the horizon and wanted the animation to be complete in time to wow the audience. In order to meet this very constrained deadline, we swiftly developed a storyboard to finalise the story and got agreement on the visual style. We’d kept the visuals simple, but the subject matter is specialist so we continued to work in close contact with Adder to make sure all the details were just right before we started animating.

Animation

With the conference deadline fast approaching Synima pulled out all the stops (and a few late nights) to ensure this animation landed in good time. The pre-production work we had done with Adder really help speed this production along as all the technical detail was there in storyboards. We added a rousing soundtrack to build anticipation towards the end of the video and get the conference floor buzzing.

So…did it work?

The end result is a high-impact overview of Adder’s products and services that fully met the client’s brief. The style we established was carried over and employed elsewhere in their marketing. The video went down a storm at the conference and Adder reported great interest in the production. At Synima, we think it’s a great example of how a technical subject can be made accessible and interesting to both professionals and lay audiences.
