Pre Production

Filming interviews in a car while driving around city streets puts a lot of pressure on the shoot, so pre-production was even more important than usual. We coordinated with the client to conduct pre-interviews with the participants so they were fully prepared for shooting. We arranged assistance with local partners to handle the logistics of filming in a car in Milan. New Year holidays presented some additional challenges but we persisted and the shoot was a success.

Production

The shoot was really exciting because we were filming with a car rig – not an everyday occurrence but one we always enjoy. We worked closely with the local authorities to stop the traffic while we filmed, to ensure the safety of both our crew and the people of Milan. While shooting we allowed the conversation to occur naturally, our pre-interviews really showing their value here. We also had a second car following with our director who guided the conversation remotely to ensure all the important points were covered.

So…did it work?

The resulting video is unlike anything J.P. Morgan has done before – the unique setting for an interview makes the content even more engaging. With such an ambitious concept, Synima were delighted that J.P. Morgan trusted us to make it a reality. We were able to convey the clients desired message of the future of payments and mobility and they were very pleased with the result.
