Pre Production

The video Synima proposed would make use of bright colours and plenty of white space to create the light feel that HPE wanted. We would use a single actress, shot multiple times in different coloured clothes against different background colours to convey how ITOps was applicable to various different technologies. A friendly, female voice over would deliver the sales pitch while key words and phrases would be pulled out and overlaid on the action to drive the point home.

Production

The live action for this video was shot in a studio over two days. Our actress brought a real sense of fun to the shoot which complemented the bright colours and light touch approach to sales. Wardrobe and makeup had a busy day on set as they were key to creating the look and feel of the video. Our actress went through several transformations as we changed her costume, hair and makeup to have her represent different aspects of a modern IT environment.

So…did it work?

Dynamic editing and some animation completed this project. The brief of a light, bright and airy video was met fully by the finished product. The colours, which were chosen to match HPE’s brand colour scheme, really pop off the screen. The background colours set off the actress’s clothes and makeup to create a strong visual impact. Synima continues to work closely with HPE to create engaging videos for their marketing and communications needs.
