A recent report by Hubspot & Talkwater highlighted a number of social media trends to be aware of for the coming year. One of these is what has been deemed as the 4 C’s of Covid 19 Content
Community, Contactless, Cleanliness and Compassion.
These four areas were identified within the report as having been driven by the behaviour of consumers as they seek to get both information and reassurance from the brands they trust.
Having these needs outlined is an excellent starting point for businesses looking to build a communication strategy that connects with its customers. As the report goes on to say however, it’s also key to understand which of the 4 C’s is most pertinent at any given time. While you may see the strength of community as a great message, if consumers are most anxious about navigating busy shops in a post lockdown world, you may well miss the mark.
