Olly Venning – Animation Director

Olly is a multidisciplinary designer and artist, working predominantly in the field of computer graphics.

He has exhibited work across the globe including Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Ars Electronica, SIGGRAPH, Lumiere Festival, Berlin Festival of Light and Singapore Science Centre.
With a passion for creating immersive environments, Olly has helped create visitor attractions and experiences in both the physical and digital world – from theme park attractions to virtual reality experiences. He’s worked on AR & VR projects for The British Museum, the BBC, and took part in Mircosoft’s Hololens Academy.

Alongside commissions for top brands such as Adidas, Lego and Formula One, Olly spent five years creating medical visualisations, which led to collaborations with both Goldsmiths and Imperial College, creating a game and an immersive planetarium experience.

One of his most recent projects was as video designer for The Nightgarden, an immersive visitor attraction set in Miami’s Fairchild botanical garden, which drew over 100,000 visitors in 6 weeks.
