I’m Kimberley and I recently joined Synima as a Senior Video Strategist based out of San Francisco. I have 5 years of experience in video production and I’m incredibly excited to use this knowledge to help bring the U.S. arm of the Synima team to the next level!
Prior to working in video production, I was a designer and marketing strategist. Over my 20+ year career, I worked my way up the corporate ladder as a director and eventually became a Chief Marketing Officer.
Because of these cumulative experiences, I tend to look at everything through a client’s lens when considering things like brand alignment, target messaging, and lead conversion.
I was happy to learn that Synima has a people-first approach, which aligns with my values as a strong client advocate.
Synima has formed long-term, trusted relationships with their clients through their very personal approach of active engagement and collaboration. As someone who thrives on connecting with others and taking a consultative approach with clients, Synima is a perfect fit!
I was involved in video production when I was on the client side in various marketing departments and from that experience as well as my current background in video strategy, I can genuinely say that Synima is a group of very talented artists and producers.
Both the founders at Synima worked in production at the BBC for many years and bring the same level of masterful storytelling and broadcast quality sensibility to their work.
The richness and depth of their work is not the only thing that drew me to the company, equally as inspiring is what goes on behind the scenes. I feel grateful to work in a passionate, interconnected environment, surrounded by kind and uber-talented creators who are extremely devoted to their craft.
As an added plus the animation team at Synima is in-house, which benefits clients by ensuring creative continuity as well as faster turnaround times.
The company has a global reach with offices not only in London, but in Amsterdam, New York, and Los Angeles. It’s truly exciting to be part of their U.S. team and to have the opportunity to work with other amazing teams worldwide!
As a future-forward person myself, I’m impressed with the fact that Synima has a strong grasp of the industry’s future. As early adopters of creating video for eLearning, VR/AR, and other innovative video techniques, the company is consistently ahead of the curve and has a focused plan for where they’re headed next.
Their U.S. office has grown significantly since it opened in 2019 and I’m thrilled to be a part of helping them grow their client portfolio.
